Whether A Troll — Or Real — “Shkreli-Inu” Is… Likely No More. And All The Alt-Enriques Are Gone, From Twitter, Too.
Well — that was an entertaining long weekend on Twitter.
At right, we see a truth-enhanced logo for what someone called a Shkreli-inu — or a crypto-shit-con-coin.
I post on it, solely to note that, if real, AND IF the SEC decided that the coin was a Ponzi type scheme (even though it pretends to be pure crypto-), the raising of money from third parties, for projects that are substantially dependent on the efforts of others (i.e., Shkreli and/or his acolytes hyping it), in a common enterprise / distributed venture, for success (here defined as coin price appreciation, even if fleeting, while the insiders sell out)… is exactly what the Supremes, in SEC v. Howey (some 76 years ago now), defined as an “investment security“.
As such, if Martin is behind this (or even just “allowing” it; i.e., by not claiming his “legit” brand rights are being violated by it!) — he has (yet again) already violated the SEC judgment, and USDC Judge Matsumoto’s criminal sentencing orders from March of 2018.
Charming. [It is hard to understand what is wrong, not just with him (well-known self destructive streak), but with his friends — that his supposed “friends” aren’t trying to explain to him that many more years in prison await if he cannot control his childish urges. He will lose on appeal of the banning order, and all of this will… bury him, Condor confidently predicts.]
And now, utterly trivially, after a fair amount of libelous junk was posted about me by several acolytes of his (after I bounced his earlier Enrique alt account), and AFTER Shkreli himself (I can definitively prove!) repeatedly (via Linkedin) snooped on my real ID… I can confirm that what I think is the last of the “Enrique” alts have been purged from Twitter by the mods, there. Cool.
I put up a thumbnail at left, of the latest one (now permanently suspended), one that used a “deep-fake” style of his real face, as the avatar — just to give a sense of how brazenly stupid he was.
Just as the coin, above seems to use a similar one.
Strange world. But… whatever. Onward, grinning… his people seem to think I care whether / or would be embarrassed somehow — by the fact that the world might know… that I’m the guy… who simply asks that we ALL honor final enforceable federal court orders.
If that’s the hill they’ve chosen to die on (on behalf of Martin — or shortly, Martin himself)… I will quite enjoy this. Bring it on. [Many people fear the things that go bump, in the night.]
Me? I’m the thing that… bumps back.
